A warming trend is on the way through Easter weekend, with a few storms late Monday, and then cooler weather returns by the middle of next week.

It's jacket weather once again as temperatures have fallen into the 40s across all of North Texas. A few areas have cooled into the upper 30s, but this will be the last of the chilly mornings for a while. A south wind returns today and our warm up begins. It's opening day for the Texas Rangers. Plenty of sunshine will greet you today with highs and the low 70s.

Southerly winds pick up overnight tonight and especially tomorrow. Friday morning lows tomorrow will be in the low to mid-50s with highs in the upper 70s. Wind will gust to 40 mph during the afternoon. A Wind Advisory will most likely be issued.

Monday looks mostly cloudy, breezy, and warm. Highs will be near 80. The dryline will once again approach North Texas by evening. This boundary will produce scattered showers and storms to our west One or two could be strong as they roll through before midnight.

A cold front will overtake the dryline early Tuesday morning pushing the rain to our east before daybreak. Sunny, breezy, and cooler weather returns Tuesday and Wednesday with highs in the mid-60s. Morning lows will dip into the 40s once again.
