Motorcyclist killed in Kingsport crash, police say
KINGSPORT, Tenn. (WCYB) — A Gate City man was killed in a motorcycle crash that happened on Thursday morning, according to the Kingsport Police Department. Officers responded to the intersection of Fort Henry Drive and Moreland Drive. According to investigators, the driver of a Toyota Tundra was going north on Fort Henry Drive, making a left turn to Moreland Drive. The driver of a Kawasaki ZXJ motorcycle was going south on Fort Henry Drive as the driver of the Tundra was making the turn, investigators added.

Police investigating after man shot in Kingsport
KINGSPORT, Tenn. (WCYB) — Authorities are investigating after a man was shot on Tuesday night, according to the Kingsport Police Department. Police responded to the 2100 block of E. Center Street at around 11:11 p.m. Officers found a man with a gunshot wound to his thigh. The man told police that several unknown males were trying to buy a television when an altercation occurred.
