TANEY COUNTY, Mo. – The Missouri State Highway Patrol is investigating the death of a fisherman who reportedly drowned Tuesday afternoon at a lake.

MSHP reports that Larry Dilday, 75, of Forsyth, Missouri, drowned in Bull Shoals Lake.

An incident report from MSHP states that Dilday was fishing from a bank and fell into the water. First responders later arrived to the scene, but he was pronounced deceased.

This is the second reported drowning in MSHP’s Troop D area, which covers much of southwest Missouri.
