Pair Arrested on Drug Related Charges During Pulaski County Traffic Stop
Pulaski County Sheriff Bobby Jones reports Deputy Logan Crabtree and Deputy Preston Pitman arrested a Burnside woman and London man on several drug-related charges during a traffic stop. The driver, 52-year-old Iris Thompson, reportedly gave officers a false ID during the stop. Thompson was later found to have a parole violation warrant from a 2018 conviction. Her passenger, 61-year-old Sean Maggard, who deputies said owned the car, consented to a search which turned up a bottle of alcohol on the passenger side floorboard, as well as marijuana, methamphetamine, and several other items of drug paraphernalia. Deputies said both Thompson and Maggard denied owning the drugs or paraphernalia. Both were lodged in the Pulaski County Detention Center.
