Fishers man arrested for child molestation

FISHERS, Ind. — A Fishers man was arrested for molesting a child under the age of 14.

David A Brinley, 47, was charged with Child Molesting: foundling or touching with a child under 14.

According to court documents, the crime was reported to the Department of Child Services on April 30.

After speaking with the police, the minor victim stated that the assaults took place 10 times.

Officers spoke with Brinley on May 2. During the interview, he said, “I went to kiss her cheek at the same time she moved, but that was a loving and enduring kiss, but I know that is made up.” After agreeing to take it, just 9 minutes later, Brinley stated that he would not take a polygraph.
