A Fayetteville man was arrested Tuesday after allegedly getting on a Cumberland County school bus Monday afternoon, a news release said.

Jarrell Walker, 35, of Fayetteville, is charged with trespassing on a school bus, according to the Cumberland County Sheriff's Office.

Walker reportedly boarded the bus at 3:53 p.m. at the intersection of Montclair Road and Stoney Kirk Drive when the bus stopped to drop off students from Montclair Elementary School, the release said.

Walker was released from the Cumberland County jail after posting $1,000 bail, according to the release.

The Sheriff's Office did not say if Walker had any connection to the school or students.

"We remind the public and parents that school personnel and students are the only ones allowed to be on the bus. While parents can walk their children to the bus, they cannot enter it," the Sheriff's Office said in the release.

Walker is at least the fourth person arrested for allegedly trespassing on a school bus since December.
