Warmer temperatures today, before rainfall and thunderstorms tomorrow and Saturday
BRIDGEPORT, W.Va (WDTV) - Today we get a nice little break from the rain showers and isolated thunderstorms we have been seeing for most of the week. Highs are rising up for the day getting up to the high 70s in most places and even getting up to 80 in Morgantown! Unfortunately, this won’t remain the case for long as early Friday afternoon we are going to start to see some more consistent rain showers and thunderstorms throughout the area as a low pressure system moves through. This will continue into Saturday morning as well and towards Saturday afternoon, rain showers and thunderstorms will start to move out of the area. Highs on Friday and Saturday will drop down into the low 70s. Looking forward into the next couple days after that, we are going to enter a warming trend as high pressure settles into the area getting up into the mid 80s into the start of the work week and we are going to start to get some clearer skies as well. Daniel Niemasz has all of this and more on your First Alert Forecast.
