Boulder County launches pilot program for mobile home communities
Boulder County announced on Monday that it is launching a pilot program to repair and rehabilitate Columbine Mobile Home Park and Orchard Grove Mobile Home Park in Boulder. The new program is designed to gather information on the needs of Boulder County’s mobile home communities. The Mobile Home Communities Program will look at ways to support individual households and understand repair needs. The types of repairs considered include energy efficiency, health and safety, accessibility issues and general repairs.

Larimer County reluctantly approves controversial water pipeline
Late Wednesday night, Larimer County Commissioners – with reluctant, and heavy hearts – unanimously approved a hotly contested water pipeline proposal that will deliver drinking water to residents of the city of Thornton. The pipeline is something Thornton city officials have been trying to build for nearly a decade, unsuccessfully, due to heated opposition from community members and environmental groups.
