Caleb Michael Ament, son of Shannon and Jason Ament, was awarded his Eagle Court of Honor at the Church of the Harbor on Saturday, April 27.

The dignitaries that attended and presented Caleb with citations (as well as citations from other dignitaries who couldn’t make it) were Senator Johnny Ray Salling, Delegate Ric Metzgar and Delegate Robin Grammer, Jr.

Caleb is the 99th Scout of Boy Scout Troop 745. He is an Ordeal Member of Order of The Arrow. He served two terms as Senior Patrol Leader. He will continue staying with Boy Scout Troop 745 as an Assistant Scoutmaster.

For his service project, he devised an Outdoor Learning Center for Sandalwood Elementary School. The project took a total of 83 hours and he earned 21 Merit Badges.

Caleb attends Eastern Technical High School. He is enrolled in the information technology program. After Caleb graduates he will be attending CCBC-Essex in the fall continuing his education in Information Technology.

Troop 745 would like to wish Caleb good luck in all his future endeavors.
