Mothers of crime victims speak out against murder and gun violence
A vigil was held Saturday during National Crime Victims' Rights Week to remember those who died in violent crimes. Georgie Dixon lost her son just more than 20 years ago. Palm Beach to lift seasonal restrictions on yard trash collection beginning Wednesday
Beginning Wednesday, the town will give residents and business owners an additional two days to set out their yard trash before the scheduled day of collection. Relaxing the seasonal restrictions on the collection of yard trash allows items to be placed in the right-of-way up to three days before they are collected.

Health alert partially lifted after sewage spill in Lake Worth Beach area
The Florida Health Department in Palm Beach County has partially lifted a health alert for water bodies since the rupture of a sewer line near Lake Worth Beach on April 9. A 36-inch line was damaged when a contractor working with AT&T hit the sewer line near Florida Mango Road between Waterside Drive and the L-10 Canal. An estimated 3 million to 5 million gallons were dispersed until the line was fixed four days after the rupture by the Lake Worth Utility District.
