Parrot Head Club’s 21st Annual Beach Bike Poker Run is Saturday

EMERALD ISLE, N.C. — The Emerald Isle Parrot Head Club’s 21st Annual Beach Bike Poker Run will be this Saturday from 11:30-6 p.m. at the Emerald Club in Emerald Isle.

The event is a fundraiser for Semper Fi and Americas Fund to enable children of wounded, ill or injured Marines to attend the Outdoor Odyssey Camp in Pennsylvania.

Registration starts at The Emerald Club in Emerald Isle from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Cost of registration is $20, cash only. The participants will visit seven food and drink establishments and receive a poker card. Prizes will be awarded for the top 3 poker hands and the three best-dressed bikes and participants.

Participants are encouraged to dress up in their craziest Parrot Head attire and decorate their bikes. The theme this year is Fins Forever.
