JV Team Beats Xaverian, Advances to Championship vs. Molloy!
The McClancy JV baseball team took on Xaverian in their semifinal matchup on May 23, 2023. The game was scoreless through 5 innings until the Crusaders scored 6 runs in the bottom of the 6th inning to win the game 6-0. Freshman Ronald Trinidad threw a 1-hit complete game, striking out 9 batters and looking very dominant throughout the afternoon. Freshman K.J Osario (2 RBI), sophomore Michael Kelly (1 RBI), and sophomore Luca Zacco (1 RBI) had big contributions to the victory. Overall, it was a great game for the Crusaders as they look to win the Brooklyn-Queens championship at Archbishop Molloy on May 25, 2023!

Friday afternoon, a few hours after the Colts’ baseball team closed out its semifinal series against neighboring Mepham in the most dramatic fashion, Calhoun boys’ lacrosse flipped the switch on a South Side team that defeated it by a five-goal margin earlier in the month.
