The Villages seems to be canceling a lot of popular events
I am very disheartened about The Villages’ decision to cancel many popular events. The Blonde Ambition light show and the Parady event for veterans are just two of many. The events were part of who The Villages is. Numerous veterans and thousands upon thousands of Villagers who want to have fun do not want these events eliminated. These events are one of the reasons we moved here five years ago. It makes this golf community stand out. This elimination of popular events has been done quietly, under the table, without resident input. No reasons have been given for this removal of popular activities. One can assume it’s money! How dare you cheap out!
