On Tuesday, November 28, 2023, the Wayne County Board of Education held a regular session board meeting at Tolsia High School. During this session, the Board of Education members and the Superintendent, Todd Alexandar took the time to recognize students from local schools for their outstanding student achievement. DEBORD — The Martin County Sheriff’s Department apprehended a man wanted for a burglary and a second man. Martin County 911 received a call Nov. 21 from a female who relayed that upon returning to her residence on North Wolf Creek, she interrupted a burglary in progress. Deputy Chris Sesco and Sheriff John Kirk responded to the scene.

Lovely resident Blanch Robinson’s vehicle following an accident at approximately 8:20 a.m. Monday on Riverfront Road.
