DEBORD — The Martin County Sheriff’s Department apprehended a man wanted for a burglary and a second man. Martin County 911 received a call Nov. 21 from a female who relayed that upon returning to her residence on North Wolf Creek, she interrupted a burglary in progress. Deputy Chris Sesco and Sheriff John Kirk responded to the scene.
Single vehicle accident on Riverfront Road
Lovely resident Blanch Robinson’s vehicle following an accident at approximately 8:20 a.m. Monday on Riverfront Road. Law enforcement stated Robinson was driving the vehicle south on State Route 292 when she veered toward the riverbank and struck a large tree. The Inez Elementary Student Council, under the direction of Kayla Hale, made a monetary contribution to Linda Webb and Christmas in the Mountains.
