Detroit police say woman reported missing on city's west side has been recovered

DETROIT (WWJ) -- There's good news in the case of a woman who was reported missing earlier this month on Detroit's west side.

Jeanine Ewing, 46, was said to have disappeared on Saturday, April 6, after leaving home on Pembroke, near 8 Mile Road and the Southfield Freeway.

Her family was concerned for her safety when she didn't not return home, police said,

In an update provided Wednesday, the Detroit Police Department said Ewing has been recovered.

Police did not say where she was located, and no further information was released.
