Woman Who Was On Stage With Drake In 2010 Video Speaks Out: ‘It Was Nothing’

The woman who was seen in a resurfaced video from an old Drake show has spoke out. As we previously shared, footage of Drake lusting over a 17-year-old girl was making rounds on social media this morning. According to multiple outlets the footage is from an old show in 2010 that took place in Denver Colorado.

During the old performance at the Ogden Theater, the Canadian rapper was seen with a girl on stage and he dances with her, seemingly kisses her neck, and compliments her. After reaching his hands across her chest from behind, he then picks up the microphone and acknowledges that he is getting “carried away.” When asked about her age, the girl responds that she is 17. Drake responds by saying, “I can’t go to jail yet, man!”

He then goes on to asks: “Why do you look like that? You thick [curvaceous]. Look at all this.” He continues: “I don’t know if I should feel guilty or not, but I had fun. I like the way your breasts feel against my chest.” He then kisses her on the cheeks and forehead.

Of course the footage made Drake look bad, but the woman whose name is Tia Owens hopped on her Instagram account when she saw the video began to resurface.

While reposting our original story Tia shared a message to her Instagram that read: “Nothing then and it’s nothing now,” she began. “This was purely for his stage act. I was 17 years old and I’m 31 now. It was nothing then and it’s nothing now.”

She continued, “Regarding the video that is going around…I was 17 back then and I’m 31 now. This was a concert that my dad took me to back in high-school. Drake’s entourage actually picked me out from the crowd of people…NOT DRAKE himself. By the way performers always bring fans up on stage…it’s part of their show. It was nothing then and it’s still nothing now.”

Of course this footage is now making rounds on social media because of the recent rap beef between Drake and Kendrick Lamar. As we previously shared, over the weekend the two rappers continued to drop multiple diss tracks towards each other, which led to both rappers making some shocking allegations.

In Kendrick’s new song, “Not Like Us”, the “Humble” rapper called Drake a “certified paedophile” as he made multiple references to his alleged interactions with younger women.
