Former Golden State Warriors head coach Mark Jackson spoke on the most-watched series in the West. The Los Angeles Lakers and Denver Nuggets have brought in many viewers for a matchup between superstars.

Despite the Lakers garnering stars like LeBron James and Anthony Davis, they find themselves down 0-3 to the defending champions. Jackson had a unique approach to finish off the Lakers' misery.

He says that if he were the NBA commissioner he would cancel the series as a whole. It's complete dominance from Denver. They have now beaten the Lakers in 11 straight games, dating back to the playoffs last season.

Apr 25, 2024; Los Angeles, California, USA; Denver Nuggets center Nikola Jokic (15) moves to the basket against Los Angeles Lakers forward Anthony Davis (3) guard D'Angelo Russell (1) and forward LeBron James (23) during the first half in game three of the first round for the 2024 NBA playoffs at Crypto.com Arena.

"If I was commissioner for one day, there would be no Game 4," said Jackson, per The Mark Jackson show. "I'd just cancel it. If I was commissioner for a day, I've seen enough. Throw in the towel. We should treat this like boxing. Just throw in the towel"

"Somebody in the stands should be able to have the power to throw in the towel and say it's over because they are not fighting. They are not committed to living to see another day, Their energy, their effort, their enthusiasm, is all lacking and they are down 3-0 because of it."

Los Angeles simply doesn't have the answer to beat the Nuggets, not just in a series, but even within a 48-minute sequence.

The cancelation of the series definitely won't be in contention for Commissioner Adam Silver and the NBA, but Jackson is clear in mentioning the superior play of Denver.
