New skatepark construction underway in Queen Anne's County
The Department of Parks and Recreation, alongside the County Commissioners, are excited to announce the construction of a new skatepark. The skatepark will be located in Stevensville on Cockey Lane behind Business Parkway and promises to be a dynamic addition to the recreational amenities of Queen Anne’s County. PASADENA — Junior RJ Ensor scored six goals and set up a seventh, and Riley Klepper added a hat trick Wednesday, leading Queen Anne’s County High’s girls lacrosse team to an 11-6 victory over No. 3 seed Chesapeake-Anne Arundel in a Class 2A state quarterfinal. QUEENSTOWN — The American Legion Benedict A. Andrew Post 296 in Queenstown, including the Ladies Auxiliary and the Sons of the American Legion, recently donated $16,000 to the Veterans Affairs (VA) Maryland Health Care System for the benefit of veteran patients throughout the state.
