18-year-old arrested for fleeing police during DUI pursuit

MINGO COUNTY, WV (LOOTPRESS) – A Mingo County man faces charges after a Tuesday DUI pursuit.

According to the Mingo County Sheriff’s Office, on Tuesday, March 26, 2024, deputies with the MCSO attempted to conduct a traffic stop on a vehicle, the driver of which failed to yield to officers’ emergency signals.

A pursuit ensued, concluding with officers bringing the vehicle to a stop and facilitating the arrest of Joseph K. White, 18 years old of Delbarton.

Deputy T.J. Justice, Deputy M. Tiller, and Deputy B.T. Sipple conducted the arrest on charges of fleeing in vehicle, fleeing while DUl, driving under the influence of controlled substance, possession of controlled substance, no insurance and no operators.
