Rockville rocks Daytona Beach: Here’s the lineup and everything else you need to know

Set for May 9-12 at Daytona International Speedway, the festival will reportedly feature more than 150 bands and is expected to draw over 200,000 fans.
Family-owned Ormond Beach restaurant permanently closes after 30 years
A beloved Granada Boulevard restaurant announced its permanent closure over the weekend. Delcato’s Pizza and Italian Restaurant has been serving the Volusia community its indulgent selection of “home-style Italian” cuisine and New York-style pizza for over three decades. However, on Friday, the family-owned-and-operated eatery announced on social media that it had served its final slices.
Restaurant news: Family-owned Flagler beach bar and grill opens in Ormond-by-the-Sea
A Flagler Beach staple recently opened a second restaurant location in Ormond-by-the-Sea. Oceanside Beach Bar & Grill’s new location, which replaces what was formerly Betty’s A1A Café, soft opened late last month, and plans to open with regular hours by next week. The beachside eatery is currently operating under the limited hours of 8 a.m. – 3 p.m. daily during its soft opening, with breakfast served from 8 a.m. – 2 p.m. and lunch from 11 a.m. – 3 p.m.

Animals taken from Deland 'house of horrors' adopted by rescuers
DELAND, Fla. — Neglected animals taken from a Deland home earlier this week are getting new homes with the people who saved them. According to the Volusia County Sheriff's Office, deputies were called to the house for a well-being check after reports of a smell. Inside, deputies found a deceased dog, cat and two birds. Emaciated dogs, cats, snakes, lizards and at least one tarantula were also found in the home.
