Mother's Day (Sunday, May 12) is quickly approaching, and it's time to celebrate all the special moms, grandmas and motherly figures in our lives. What better way to show our appreciation than treating those we love most to a special occasion brunch, relaxing lunch or dinner on the water?

Whether looking for a casual, beachside meal, a brunch buffet for all to indulge in or an oceanfront cocktail, the Volusia-Flagler restaurant scene has something for every mom this holiday. For those still making plans, here are a handful of local restaurants offering delicious Mother's Day Brunch menus, buffets, specials and more for the celebratory day.

Beach Front Grille is hosting a Mother’s Day brunch from 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. on Sunday, May 12, priced at $40 per person. The holiday menu includes an omelet station, pot roast, a prime rib carving station, pasta salad and desserts, among other items. Bonefish Grill

Bonefish Grill will open one hour early at 10 a.m. on Sunday, May 12. The restaurant will offer a special Mother’s Day brunch with options including the traditional eggs Benedict and Bang Bang shrimp eggs Benedict, as well as crème brûlée French toast, shrimp and grits and crab and fontina cheese frittata. Cocktails and mocktails will also be available, including espresso martinis, mimosas and the Sparkling Blueberry Refresher Mocktail.

Cress Restaurant is preparing a special Mother’s Day dinner on Sunday, May 12, with noon – 7 p.m. seatings. The upscale eatery offers a four-course prix fixe dinner that includes course one — corn silk soup or spring veggie salad; course two — escargots, house mozzarella or braised prime beef ball; course three — cast iron-seared USDA prime filet mignon ($69), pan roasted fresh catch ($68), deconstructed mushroom ravioli ($55) and airline chicken breast ($57); and course four — strawberry shortcake, crack pie or lavender crème brûlée. Golden Lion Café

There will also be live music from 1 – 9 p.m. at the restaurant.

The brunch features a carving station — prime rib and roasted turkey breast; omelet station; cold options — house salad, pasta salad, fruit or beet and feta salad; hot options — mac and cheese, frittata and more; and dessert options — cheesecake and chocolate cupcakes, among other treats. Outriggers Tiki Bar and Grille

Outriggers Tiki Bar and Grille is hosting a Mother’s Day buffet with seatings from 10 a.m. – 7 p.m. on Sunday, May 12. The buffet is priced at $65 for adults and $35 for children 12 years old and younger. The restaurant’s holiday menu features $4 mimosas, an omelet station from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. and a crab cake station from 2 – 7 p.m., as well as carved beef tenderloin, angus beef sliders, mac and cheese, fresh catch of the day, and a plethora of sweet, smoked and seafood options.
