Century's Ethan Hansen goes back-to-back on his home course
Ethan Hansen woke up at 7 a.m. Saturday, made himself some eggs and watched the sun rise over Portneuf Wellness Complex. His house overlooks the course. About four hours later, he raced on it for the final time. “It’s definitely crazy,” Hansen said. “I don’t think I could see it any other way, just because of the amount of visualization and focus that I put into it.” It played out just as he’d pictured it. Bode Sparrow: From Record holder to Record Breaker
Three touchdowns, three touchdowns are all it took so separate Bode Sparrow from History. The matchup Layton High vs Davis High, a simple rivalry, granted a player the opportunity to be more. By the end of the game, he was; Bode Sparrow didn’t just find the ball in the end zone, he found himself standing above one of the most recognizable records set in Utah Highschool football. A push for most career receiving touchdowns formally held by Puka Nacua’s 58, Bode exceeded to 59. Career receiving touchdowns may be just a stat in a football career, but what does this mean for the game of football?
