The most common crime was arrests, accounting for 9 cases, followed by thefts with 7 instances. Suspicious situations were reported 4 times, while assaults and trespassing cases were recorded twice each. Disturbances and other types of crime, including a drug violation, were each reported once. Fatal Accident on US91 in Bannock County
Two people are dead after an accident that happened Saturday afternoon in Bannock County. An 86-year-old man from Preston was driving a 2003 Buick northbound on US91 when the vehicle crossed the center line and hit a 2012 Nissan head-on. The driver of the Buick and the 53-year-old passenger in the Nissan both died at the scene. The driver of the NIssan was taken to the hospital.

The Grace High School Grizzlies lady basketball team took 1st place in the 2024 1A Division1 state basketball tournament held in Nampa on February 17th. Our granddaughter, Kamryn Mansfield, plays basketball for Grace. She is only a Sophomore. It has been fun following her games on our computer.
