Bannock County crews repair, build thousands of feet of road guardrails
POCATELLO — The Bannock County Road and Bridge division has replaced, repaired and built more than 2,500 feet of roadside guardrails, and more work is to come. In an effort to improve road safety for the summer, the county division has repaired several end sections of guardrails along Mink Creek Road and replaced a 130-foot section of guardrail on Charlotte Drive, according to a new release from the county.

Weston to lay down law
May’s Weston City Council meeting was rather dramatic by comparison to past meetings. The drama began when Brent Christensen came forward to present his plans for a new home on the infamous trailer lot. The discussion was quickly terminated. The issue was immediately tabled until next month to give the Christensens time to finally comply with the city ordinances. Presently the trailer is still on site and apparently there is a deck as well. The council swiftly dispelled any idea of the Christensens living in the trailer during construction.
