    Danville gets $1.4M grant for home rehab projects

    DANVILLE, Ill. (WCIA) — The City of Danville received a  $1.4 million grant from the State Housing Development Authority.

    Danville starts Matching Grant Program for local Neighborhood Associations

    The money will go towards home rehabilitation projects throughout the city. City officials are currently looking for qualified contractors to carry out the project. This will include carpentry, roofing, electrical and more for dilapidated houses.

    Homeowners or contractors who are interested can visit the City’s IHDA HAFHR Program webpage or the Community Development office at 1155 East Voorhees Street for more information.
