Charles Barkley Calls Out Luka Doncic's 'Bad' Basketball Habit

Charles Barkley loves almost everything about Luka Doncic's game. Key word: Almost.

Doncic and the Mavericks led the Clippers by 10 at halftime of Game 5 of the Dallas-Los Angeles NBA Playoff series.

During TNT's halftime analysis, Barkley praised Doncic for trusting his teammates and making quick decisions. Barkley pointed out that the NBA superstar has a "bad" habit of holding onto the ball for too long and taking a poor shot as the shot clock expires.

Barkley believes for Doncic to take his game to the next level, he has to make quicker decisions and trust his teammates.

"Love the fact that Luka's trusting Kyrie to push it," Barkley said at halftime of Game 5 of the Mavericks-Clippers series. He's making fast, aggressive decisions. Quick decisions. When he holds the ball and dribbles and shoots that fadeaway three, no don't do that, man. Make quick decisions.

"... But, as much as I love Luka, that's one of his bad habits. He has missed the whole shot clock and takes a bad shot. Now it goes in and people say what a great shot it was. But if he would learn to trust those other guys..."

That's some key insight from the Hall of Famer. It seems like Luka Doncic is starting to listen.
