3 juvenile escapees captured in Cullman County
CULLMAN, Ala. – Three juvenile escapees from Jefferson County are in custody following a pursuit in Cullman County. At approximately 4 p.m. today, Thursday, May 9, Cullman County Sheriff’s Office deputies attempted to conduct a traffic stop in the Gold Ridge area. The driver of the vehicle allegedly refused to stop and a short pursuit followed. The vehicle stopped and the occupants allegedly abandoned the vehicle at the intersection of County Road 1422 and County Road 1476. Cullman Heritage Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Follette passed away on Thursday, May 9, 2024, at Cullman Regional. She was born, April 28, 1977, to Wayne Nichols and Sharon Farley. She was preceded in death by her father. Survivors include her mother; sister, Julie (Russell) Dunand; brothers, Jeff (Jennifer) Nichols and Jason Nichols; and a host of nieces, nephews family and friends.
23 charged with theft after Redstone Federal Credit Union loses over $2 million to fraud
Eighteen of 23 people charged with theft after allegedly receiving fraudulent account transfers through Redstone Federal Credit Union totaling over $2 million were arrested Wednesday, according to the Morgan County Sheriff’s Office.
