    Creston Police Arrest Two People on Drug Possession Charges

    (Creston) Creston Police arrested two people on Saturday on charges of possession of methamphetamine.

    Police arrested 45-year-old Robert Todd Jackson and 47-year-old Deanne Michelle Jackson at the intersection of Mills and Sumner. Robert Jackson is charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance-Methamphetamine, 1st offense, and driving while suspended. Deanne Michelle Jackson faces charges of Possession of a Controlled Substance, Methamphetamine, 1st offense.

    Robert Jackson was held on a $1,300 cash bond, and Deanne Jackson’s bond was $1,000 cash bond. They both posted the required bond and were released from jail.

    In other activity:

    *Police arrested 21-year-old Aaron James Cozad of Creston on Saturday at the intersection of Chestnut and Monroe. Cozad was charged with OWI 1st Offense and Driving While Revoked. He was taken to the Union County Jail and released on $2000 Cash or Surety bond.

    *On Sunday, 20-year-old Daemon Cole Rodriquez of Texas was arrested at 403 E Townline for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Rodriquez was cited and released on Promise to Appear.

    *On Sunday, Amanda Morris, 41, of Afton, was arrested at Caseys North. Morris was charged on a Guthrie County Warrant for failing to appear for a charge of Possession of Contraband in Correctional Institution, Possession of Controlled Substance-Methamphetamine 1st Offense, and Operating while Under the Influence 1st Offense. Morris is being held in Adams County on No Bond and is awaiting extradition to Guthrie County Jail.
