Catherine Mary Samber, 92, was born on August 1, 1931, in Council Bluffs, Iowa, to Chris and Hilda (Volck) Holthusen. Catherine, better known as Kitty, attended and graduated high school in Stoneham, CO, then continued to complete some college courses in Greeley, CO. It was in Stoneham where she met the love of her life, Joseph Samber.

OPD: Juvenile seriously hurt in cutting
OMAHA, Neb. — A juvenile was seriously hurt after a cutting. Omaha police say it happened near 29th and S Streets around 12:30 Friday morning. Investigators say the juvenile was stabbed in the chest and sent to the hospital with serious injuries. The investigation remains ongoing.
Motorcyclist Arrested After Narcotics, Gun Found at Crash Scene
LINCOLN–(KFOR May 17)–An update to a story about a motorcycle crash that happened early on May 6 at 70th and Douglas in northeast Lincoln. According to LPD public information manager Erika Thomas, 40-year-old Jeremy Wilcox of Omaha lost control of his northbound motorcycle and ran into a yard of a home, being ejected. Wilcox was taken to the hospital for his injuries and he apparently was confrontational in the ER, where he spit on staff members.
