More Snow and Rain, Lightning
Good Morning. We start the day off once again, with snowfall mixed into rain. Early this morning we had a light dusting stick to the surface in the Valley. The rest of the day will be similar to what we have been seeing for the last few days. Consistent showers with occasional flurries of snow. Greater than freezing temps will prevent much more snow accumulation in the lower elevations. The big difference today will be far more elevated chances for thunder. If any sunshine comes through today, expect to see tall clouds build and likely thunderstorms.
Mix of rain, sun, snow and thunder through the weekend
A mix of rain and snow showers will continue into the weekend as cold air advances south with slushy accumulations down to elevations of 500-feet Friday, Saturday and Sunday morning and rain showers in the afternoon up to 1500-feet. Next storm arrives right by Sunday night with another round of rain, snow and breezy conditions into Tuesday. No sign of absolutely dry weather until next Thursday, March 7.
