Hopkins boy, 4, found dead after being reported missing Sunday
HOPKINS, Minn. (FOX 9) - The body of a 4-year-old Hopkins boy who was reported missing on Sunday has been found in Minnehaha Creek. Law enforcement said the body of Waeys Mohamed was found around 10:40 a.m. in Minnehaha Creek, about 500 yards from his apartment building. Police believe this was an accidental drowning, but his death remains under investigation. Police noted a volunteer found his body.

High water levels in Minnesota rivers causing danger in water and on trails
SHAKOPEE, Minn. (FOX 9) - Across Minnesota right now, rivers are unpredictable, fast moving and dangerous due to high water levels from a recent deluge of rain. Over the weekend, authorities in Shakopee had to perform two water rescues along the Wilkie Trail within eight hours of each other. In both cases, first responders say the individuals attempted to pass through a flooded section of the trail and got swept away.

On June 7, a Crystal police officer observed a motorcyclist traveling at a high rate of speed eastbound on 42nd Avenue North near Winnetka Avenue.
