CONESVILLE − The Coshocton County Emergency Management Agency is investigating what is believed to be straight-line winds that caused damage to a small, isolated area across from Cleveland Cliffs off of Ohio 16.

The storm hit at 12:30 a.m. Wednesday, just as a severe thunderstorm warning was expiring in the area. Rob McMasters, Coshocton County EMA director, said representatives from the National Weather Service were due Wednesday afternoon to assess the situation and determine what exactly caused the damage.

McMasters said there were no injuries. There were trees knocked down and damage to houses, including the roof being taken off of a house clearly visible from Ohio 16.
