It’s safe to say that Kyler Murray is a big fan of the Arizona Cardinals’ draft pick Thursday night.

In the first round of the 2024 NFL Draft, the Cardinals selected Ohio State wide receiver Marvin Harrison. The dynamic Harrison Jr., the son of a Hall of Famer, is one of the best wide receiver prospects in this year’s draft.

Now that Kyler gets to throw to him, he’s quite excited about it.

“LET’S ROCK!” Murray exclaimed on X, the website formerly known as Twitter. Murray also mentioned Harrison Jr. on the website, tagging him in the post. If you want to get technical, it’s the first official communication between the two.

Many considered Harrison Jr. the best wide receiver in the country while attending Ohio State. Between his ability and the numbers he put up, those pundits wouldn’t be wrong.

The two-time All-American won the 2023 Big Ten Offensive Player of the Year Award. He also became the recipient of the 2023 Biletnikoff Award, handed out annually to the best receiver in the nation.

Harrison Jr. racked up 155 career receptions, 2,613 yards, and 31 receiving touchdowns at Ohio State. He had back-to-back 14-touchdown seasons in 2022 and 2023. He posted a career-high 77 receptions and 1,263 yards in the 2022 season.

His skills are likely to translate to the NFL. There’s a reason why many think he’s one of the best prospects in recent memory.

Kyler Murray seems to agree.
