With the current contract expiring July 1st, the council ultimately tabled any action until June 11th to allow for further discussion. Alex Shackleton is a spokesperson for Waste Connections--the parent company of Shenandoah Sanitation. Shackleton says they presented two proposals that covered the same areas they are servicing currently, including residential, commercial, incinerator, and clean-up days, among others.
