Janesville man waives preliminary hearing in shooting death of ex-girlfriend
JANESVILLE — A Janesville man accused of killing his ex-girlfriend during an alleged argument over whether or not she should get an abortion waived his right to a preliminary hearing on Thursday. In an adjourned initial court appearance via Zoom from the Rock County Jail, Logan Barclay, 23, was given an arraignment date of Friday, June 7 at 3 p.m. Barclay faces a charge of first-degree intentional homicide, modified as domestic violence. ...
Man charged with felony, accused of throwing dog against wall
JANESVILLE, Wisconsin (WKOW) -- Police arrested a Beloit man accused of throwing a dog against a wall at a home in Janesville. Janesville police said they responded to a home on N. Parker Drive Monday night for a report of disorderly conduct. Officers found a four or five-year-old chihuahua named Tito "suffering from significant trauma."

DARIEN, Wis. - Three Illinois men were arrested after a Wisconsin police chase early Wednesday morning, May 29. The Walworth County Sheriff's Office was called just after 4 a.m. about a possible business burglary in the town of Darien. An employee said they arrived for work and saw a box truck with two men on the property.

JANESVILLE — Three Janesville Police Department lieutenants and two sergeants celebrated their promotions at Janesville City Hall on Wednesday where their service, dedication and sacrifices were noted.
