Brockport Baseball Earns ABCA Team Academic Award
The American Baseball Coaches Association honored SUNY Brockport with a 2023-24 ABCA Team Academic Excellence Award, which is presented by Sports Attack. Teams from every level of college and high school baseball were honored with this year's award, which highlights programs coached by ABCA members that posted a GPA of 3.0 or above on a 4.0 scale for the cumulative 2023-24 academic year.

Report: New York needs $29M to upgrade aging state bridges
(The Center Square) — New York needs to spend tens of millions of dollars to bring its aging bridges into a state of good condition, according to the state's top fiscal watchdog, calling for more funding for the upgrades. New York Provides Free Overdose Emergency Kits to Domestic Violence Shelters
Domestic violence shelters and service providers across New York State now have access to free Overdose Emergency Kits. This initiative is a partnership between the New York State Office for the Prevention of Domestic Violence (OPDV), the Office of Addiction Services and Supports (OASAS), and the Office of Children and Family Services (OCFS). The kits are provided through Project COPE (Community Overdose Prevention Education), funded by a grant from the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA).
