Bomb threat led to evacuation of West Springfield theater, police say
A bomb threat led to the evacuation of a West Springfield theater Friday evening, but it turned out to be unsubstantiated, according to West Springfield police. A 911 caller reported a bomb threat at the Cinemark Theater on Riverdale Street just before 5:10 p.m., West Springfield police said in a press release. The “vague” threat was overheard by a customer at the theater.
