CHICOPEE, Mass. (WWLP) – The Maintenance Technician is a member of the Technical Services Department and is responsible for providing engineering and general maintenance support for the station under the direction of Technical Services Management.

Temporary part-time position for facilities maintenance and engineering support in a news production environment.

Additional Job Description

• Assist in maintaining some station broadcast equipment within the facility
• Problem-solving/troubleshooting to reduce equipment downtime and maximize system efficiency
• Perform other job-related duties as requested by management

Requirements & Skills:

• Ability to lift 50 pounds
• Climb an eight-foot ladder
• Have reliable transportation
• Willing to learn and work independently
• Background in television production, lighting, and general studio protocols
