    IMAGES: CPD searching for suspects in separate CTA Red Line robberies

    CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) - Chicago Police have put out community alerts concerning robberies of CTA passengers, all involving the Red Line.

    Police posted images of people wanted for separate robberies on Red Line trains and platforms at the 95th Street and Chinatown Stations as well as an attempted robbery at the Harrison Street Station.

    They occurred last month.

    They released a dozen images, which are pretty clear and show the people’s faces.

    The 95th Street robbery involved a knife.

    At the Chinatown stop, police said, they took a victim’s property by force.

    At the Harrison Street stop, police say a man punched a woman in the face, unprovoked. She ran and he chased after her, punching her in the face a second time and demanding money.

    Police remind people to stay aware of their surroundings and call police to report suspicious activity immediately.
