Myrtle Beach, Coastal Carolina University enter agreement on downtown performing arts center
MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (WMBF) - Myrtle Beach City Council signed off Tuesday on a joint venture with Coastal Carolina University on a new performing arts center. The city passed both a lease and operations agreement with the school at its meeting on Tuesday. The move comes months after the first readings of each were approved by the city in February, while CCU’s Board of Trustees approved its portion of the lease agreement days later.
