    Lewis County commissioners look for volunteer for east county development board

    The Lewis County Board of County Commissioners is looking for a volunteer to serve on the East Lewis County Public Development Authority (ELCPDA).

    Created in 1996, the ELCPDA promotes small business and light industrial development in East Lewis County. The board is made up of five members who oversee the Packwood Business Park.

    The board is tasked with overseeing the finances of the park as well as the leases of the business park’s tenants. Board members serve three-year terms.

    To apply, submit both an application and a letter of interest to the Board of County Commissioners. Applications can be submitted to Room 210 of the courthouse at 351 NW North St. in Chehalis, via mail to the same address or emailed to committees@lewiscountywa.gov . Emailed applications should include “ELCPDA” in the subject line.

    The Lewis County Board of County Commissioners will accept applications until 3 p.m. on May 23 to fill the opening.
