Luka Doncic’s Two Word Message To JJ Redick About Hornets Interview

Following the 2023-24 NBA season, Hornets coach Steve Clifford stepped down from the position, leaving Charlotte to hunt for a new coach in the offseason.

The Hornets finished the season with a 21-61 record, tied for the third worst in the NBA. Star point guard LaMelo Ball was out for most of the season, so rookie Brandon Miller had to carry the load. He improved greatly throughout the year and a new head coach would have something to build on next season.

Former NBA guard JJ Redick is considered one of the finalists for the job. Reddick has made his desire to coach well-known in the past and has had an interview for the open position.

Redick's former teammate on the Dallas Mavericks, Luka Doncic, had two words when he found out the news of Redick interviewing for the Charlotte job.
