BRENHAM WOMAN ARRESTED THURSDAY
A Brenham woman was arrested Thursday night charged with assault. Brenham Police report that Thursday night at 9:35, Officers responded to a residence located in the 1400 block of Wyandotte Lane in reference to a disturbance. Initial investigation revealed a domestic disturbance occurred resulting in an assault. Lindsey Noelle Turpen, 33 of Brenham, was taken into custody charged with Assault Causing Bodily Injury of a Family Member and transported to the Washington County Jail.

MAN ARRESTED THURSDAY BY BRENHAM POLICE
A Venus, Texas man was arrested Thursday night by Brenham Police. They report that at 9:25 p.m., Officers responded to the 2100 block of Highway 290 West in reference to an intoxicated person. Upon further investigation, Cedric Gene Nickerson, 35 of Venus, Texas, was heavily intoxicated and walking on a public roadway. He also showed to have multiple warrants out for his arrest. Nickerson was placed under arrest and transported to the Washington County Jail charged with Public Intoxication and his active warrants were served; Failure to Appear issued out of Washington County, Harassment of a Public Servant issued out of Brazos County, and Criminal Trespass of Property issued out of Brazos County.

BRENHAM, Texas — The Brenham Police Department is looking for three people they believe could be involved in a theft that occurred at a local liquor store. According to the Brenham Police Department, back on January 9, 2024, a theft happened at a local liquor store. In a post on Facebook Police put out a BOLO of the three suspects, releasing photos that appear to be taken by a security camera. BRENHAM POLICE ARREST DRIVER CAUGHT GOING OVER 100 MPH, WEAVING THROUGH TRAFFIC ON HIGHWAY 290
A vehicle traveling over 100 miles per hour on Highway 290 led to an arrest by Brenham police Tuesday morning. Just before 7:15 a.m., officers responded to the 2700 block of Highway 290 West regarding a report of a reckless driver. The report stated that the vehicle was weaving in and out of heavily congested traffic at high speeds.
BRYAN WOMAN ARRESTED FOR ACTIVE WARRANT
A warrant arrest was made on a Bryan woman early Thursday morning. Brenham Police report that early Thursday morning at 12:50, Officer Garrett Downs conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for an equipment violation. The driver, identified as Krystal Miles, 40 of Bryan, was discovered to have an active warrant out of College Station for Terroristic Threat Causing Fear of Serious Bodily Injury. During the arrest, Miles resisted by using force against officers when attempting to handcuff her. She was additionally charged with Resisting Arrest, Search or Transport. Miles was then transported to the Washington County Jail where she was booked in for her active warrant and for resisting arrest, search or transport.
