Firefighters extinguish fire near Shasta Lake
SHASTA COUNTY, Calif. - Firefighters extinguished a quarter acre vegetation fire in the area of Interstate 5 near exit 687 on Thursday. The Shasta Lake City Fire Department said crews were called out around 1:30 p.m., and when they arrived, they found a fire burning in grass in a woodland environment.
Dignity Health names new market president
SHASTA COUNTY, Calif. - Dignity Health announced Rodger Page is the newly appointed North State Market President. Dignity Health said Page has served as the hospital president for Mercy Medical Center - Mt. Shasta since 2018 and St. Elizabeth Community Hospital - Red Bluff since 2020.
