New Affordable Health Center Opens In Carmel Plaza

An all-new Nuvance Health-GoHealth Urgent Care center in Putnam County at 186 Route 52 in the Carmel ShopRite Plaza celebrated its opening with a ribbon-cutting ceremony, Nuvance Health announced on Monday, May 13.

Located around four miles from Putnam Hospital, patients who visit the new center will be able to quickly see an urgent care provider for diagnosis and treatment of non-life-threatening illnesses or injuries. Additionally, they can receive referrals to Nuvance Health primary and specialty care providers if necessary.

The new center will provide care to those aged six months and older and is open every day including holidays from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.

"We are committed to expanding our urgent care network and are excited to open our new center in Carmel, bringing convenient and affordable care to where our patients live and work," said Nuvance Health-GoHealth Urgent Care Medical Director Reed Idriss.
