City of Norwalk announces restaurant, cocktail bar coming to Norwalk Central
The city of Norwalk, in conjunction with Diligent Development and Jary Enterprises LLC, has announced Cooper’s Central Table and Cocktails will be the newest restaurant to join the Norwalk Central development. The restaurant, which will have a 3,025-square-foot indoor space and 1,200-square-foot outdoor patio, will seat approximately 90 patrons and have a full-service beer, wine and craft cocktail bar. The owners are Jason Rieper and Ryan Cooper, who also own Coopers on 5th and the Winchester Public House, both located in Valley Junction. Their plan for the Norwalk location is to combine the two concepts to create a unique, high-class restaurant and cocktail bar, according to a news release. They hope to open by late fall this year, the release said. “Cooper’s and Winchester’s are both metro-leading concepts in experiential food and beverage. To have them both under one roof and located in Norwalk Central is a great opportunity,” Tim Portzen, vice president of Diligent Development, said in a prepared statement.
