CANFIELD, Ohio (WKBN) — A local group of artists took their crafts on the road this Saturday to help raise money for Angels for Animals.

The Artists of the Rust Belt hosted a craft show Saturday in Canfield. The event featured multiple artists and crafts from the Youngstown area.

All of the money raised through table fees and raffles benefit the animal shelter. Organizers hope the fundraiser opens to the door for other organizations.

“We’d like to consider being able to open it up to other people, to come to our website , and apply for us to come out as a fundraiser for them,” said Lauren Potts, administrator with Artists of the Rust Belt. “We do all the work, you just provide the venue and share it with the world.”

The Artists of the Rust Belt typically holds three shows a year. The next is scheduled for June 22 – 23 at the B&O Station in Youngstown.
