Who has the best pizza in Orange County? Pick your favorite

Where do you find the best pizza in Orange County? That is the question in this week's Orange County Showdown poll. There are pizzerias in every corner of the county. We couldn't possibly include all of them, but we have offered a dozen representing a cross section of the county. So go to the poll below, and if you see a favorite of yours on the list, let us know what that is. The poll will be open until midnight on Nov. 5. We'll report the results the following day. What is Orange County Showdown? Orange County Showdown is a weekly poll that lets readers celebrate the schools, communities and local favorites that make the county unique. Village Pizzeria in Goshen has the best pizza pies in Orange County. So say the readers who responded to this week's Orange County Showdown poll. Village Pizzeria was chosen by 37.5 percent of those who responded to this week's poll. Second place went to Colandrea Pizza King in Middletown. They were chosen by 18.8 percent of the voters. F&J Pizzeria in Washingtonville finished in third place, with 12.5 percent of the vote. And Prima Pizza in Cornwall was fourth, with 11 percent of the vote. For our next Orange County Showdown poll, we'll be asking what the best local diner is. New Trader Joe's stores coming to NY: See the locations

Two new Trader Joe's stores are planned for New York, expanding the popular grocery chain's presence in the state. The California-based retailer announced plans this summer to open new locations in the Syracuse area and Yonkers as part of its latest nationwide expansion. The plans add to the company's growth in New York, which includes a Long Island store that opened earlier this year. The expansion comes as Trader Joe's continues to draw shoppers with its private-label products and competitively priced groceries. Where are the new Trader Joe's stores? According to Trader Joe's, the two planned stores will be located at: Camillus: 3515 W. Genesee St., in the Syracuse area. Yonkers: 2482 Central Park Ave. The Camillus store, located just west of Syracuse in Onondaga County, will be about 9,000 square feet and become the area's second Trader Joe's. The existing Syracuse-area store is at 3422 Erie Blvd. E. in DeWitt. The Yonkers location will cover about 10,000 square feet. When will the new Trader Joe's stores open? Trader Joe's has not announced opening dates for either New York location. Spokeswoman Nakia Rohde said new stores typically open within three to six months of being announced.
