Severe thunderstorms bring more flooding to waterlogged Brazos Valley
BRYAN, Texas (KBTX) - Thursday afternoon’s severe thunderstorms brought flooding to an already waterlogged Brazos Valley. Roads started flooding in Brazos and Robertson Counties around 3:30 p.m. with calls for water rescues and crashes following not long after. Bryan police say if you come across water on the road, turn around and find a different route.
Man dead in Robertson county crash
ROBERTSON COUNTY, Texas (FOX 44) – A College Station man is dead after a two-vehicle crash in Robertson County. The Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) says the accident occurred on State Highway 6 and Sadberry Road at approximately 9:24 a.m. Saturday. A 2021 GMC Sierra towing a trailer was traveling northbound, when a 2007 Chevrolet Tahoe attempted to turn southbound, failed to yield the right of way and was struck by the GMC.
