Sweetheart supper to raise money for grieving children
Dumas Noon Lions Club Sweetheart Emily Armendariz has a passion: in the summer she volunteers to help at Camp Rainbow, the two-week camp put on by Dumas Independent School District (DISD) elementary counselor Tonie Crawford to help elementary school children who have recently lost a loved one come to terms with their grief. On Saturday, March 23, from 6-8 p.m. in the Lions Club building, Armendariz will be hosting a “Sweetheart Supper” to raise money for Camp Rainbow.
